Australasia Cup 1990, second semi-final

Toss: Australia.

O'Donnell's whirlwind 74 off just 29 balls, including the fastest half-century in one-day internationals (off eighteen deliveries), virtually sealed Sri Lanka's fate. Their previous highest, 328 for five off 60 overs, had also been scored against Sri Lanka, at The Oval in the 1975 World Cup.
