1920
As the world slowly returned to some semblance of normality, the 57th edition of the Almanack covered the one-off two-day Championship ("doomed before half the season had run its course," according to the editor, Sydney Pardon) and the visit of the Australian Imperial Forces side. The editor decried the increase in barracking, with a call to players to stop the game to try to bring "the malcontents to their senses". Among the advertisements was one offering all Wisdens from 1879 to 1888 at two shillings apiece (10p).
