Renee joined the Western Fury squad in 2000/01 after a successful 1999/2000 season with the WA Under 19 team where she was awarded the Fielder of the Tournament Award 2000. The right arm off spinner and agile fielder captained the Under 19 team and presently captains he club, Melville. Earlier this year she represented WA in the Indoor Cricket Championships in Adelaide. As part of the Western Fury, Renee will no doubt develop and succeed as the season progresses. (Louise Jackson, 2001)
