Isaac Massil

Israel's newly appointed captain at age 30. He was first capped on the 1985 tour of Italywhere he made his mark as a middle order batsman and opening bowler. Since then Isaac has represented Israel at 3 ECC tournaments returning economy and strike rates which rank with the best.

He has gained much praise from opposition sides as to his standards of play. Aside from his bowling, the team will be looking to the captain for big scores with the bat. The added responsibility of captaincy is hoped will bring out the best in Isaac.

Although he will be missing his younger brother David to open the attack with him, his elder brother Gershon has been included in the squad. Isaac has been an integral member of the Lions Lod team, which has won four consecutive league championships. He works for El Al National Airlines.
