Tamil Nadu complete formalities

Tamil Nadu completed the formalities quickly on the final day to seal an innings and 40 run victory over Haryana in their Ranji Trophy Super League group C match at Gurgaon on Sunday.

Haryana were in a hopeless position at stumps on Saturday. In arrears by 278 runs on the first innings, Haryana were 237 for nine. Tamil Nadu sealed victory in the third over of the day when V Jain was stumped by Reuben Paul off the bowling of left arm spinner Vidyuth Sivaramakrishnan.

This was Tamil Nadu's second successive victory in the group. They had earlier beaten Saurashtra. They now top the group with 16 points.
