Axing the associates
In 2014 the ICC decided to cut its marquee event, the 50-over World Cup, to ten teams from the 2019 tournament. The impact of this is expected to fall squarely on the Associate members, who had four representatives in 2015, and the response has seen sharp criticism of the decision
