2.2 to Babar Azam, popped to mid wicket, and Babar has to go for a single-digit score again! Shortish on middle and leg, and this shapes in too. Gets up to near the waist but Babar cannot quite get over this short-arm jab. Chips it rather tamely and Short does the rest. 14.3 to J Davies, another shank, and another scalp! Hard length outside off. Davies has a pop at it but tugs across the line. A tad early into the stroke too, and the ball spoons up off the toe-end of the bat. 5.3 to DP Hughes, caught on the line! Back of a length on middle and off. Hughes thinks the length is there for that favoured pick-up shot of his. He is not entirely wrong but he is hitting to the bigger side. Does not middle it completely and Sangha, stood right on the deep square leg fence, does the rest!. 44/2 | ||||||||||

11.1 to JR Philippe, catching practice for long off, and Pope rises to the occasion! Floated up full outside off. Philippe wants to go inside-out but the ball drops on him late. He has to reach out a touch, meaning the bat face closes upon impact. Chips it straight to Scott, and the Sixers are three down now!. 94/3 11.2 to JC Silk, gone first ball! And Pope is the man again! Googly on a length outside off. Silk does not pick it and tries to punch it on the up through cover. Leaves an enormous gap between bat and pad, and the ball spins in enough to kiss the inside edge and cannon into the stumps. Pope is jubilant; the Sixers, in a bit of bother now!. 94/4 | ||||||||||

Short of a length, looks to launch it straight down the ground, gets it very high and it's superbly judged on a breezy night. 27/1 14.5 to HJ Nielsen, oh, what a grab that is! Slower bumper just outside leg and this is there to be hit. Nielsen gets inside the line, trying to help it over short fine leg, but does not get the requisite elevation. Hughes, stood on the ring, nonchalantly flings out his left mitt and makes it stick. A superb catch, and the Sixers are going nowhere!. 123/6 | ||||||||||
