India v West Indies, World T20, Group 2, Mirpur
Bowlers set up India win against rusty WI
West Indies were put in to bat and struggled against the early accuracy of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Dwayne Smith, in particular, had major problems, plodding to 11 off 29 balls before being dismissed•Getty Images
At the other end, Chris Gayle was given two reprieves by R Ashwin and Yuvraj Singh. The opener tried to capitalise with two sixes•Getty Images
Confusion over West Indies' total and India's target delayed the second innings by a few minutes•Getty Images
Rohit ensured that Kohli's wicket and Yuvraj's scratchy innings did not hinder India. Along with Suresh Raina, he sealed the result for India with two balls to spare•Getty Images
India then struck another blow as Marlon Samuels was beaten and then stumped off a flighted Amit Mishra delivery•Getty Images
But his customary lethargic running between the wickets resulted in his dismissal for 34•Getty Images
Once it was confirmed that India would chase 130, West Indies got off to a bright start as Samuel Badree dismissed Shikhar Dhawan in the first over•Getty Images
Mishra dismissed Samuels and Dwayne Bravo off successive deliveries and, although he missed out on a hat-trick, he finished with 2 for 18. Bhuvneshwar finished with the most economical figures in T20 cricket - 3-0-3-0 - as West Indies were restricted to 129 for 7•ICC
The in-form Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma then added 106 for the second wicket, before Kohli was out for 54•ICC
