How much money will Green fetch?
Cameron Green did not enter the 2025 mega auction as he was injured, but this time he is set to be the focal point with Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings, the top two in terms of purse available, desperate to fill the vacancy for an overseas allrounder.
Having said that, Green cannot take home more than INR 18 crore, even if the winning bid is more than that. That is because of the IPL's maximum-fee rule for overseas players. However, the final bid amount will be deducted from the team's purse.
