Having played for England age-group teams in her teenage years, Grace Gibbs struggled to make an impact with the ball in the inaugural season of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, failing to take a wicket in her four appearances for the South East Stars, but showed promise with her lower-order hitting. She was part of the Surrey Stars side that won the Kia Super League in 2018 though opportunities with bat and ball were limited, and plays her county cricket for Kent.
