Sarah Eames opens the batting for Hong Kong and Kowloon Cricket Club. Cricket is very much a family affair in the Eames household: her husband Mark plays for the Hong Kong national side and has been one of the best batsmen in Hong Kong for more than a decade. Their daughter, predictably, also plays cricket, and she turns out alongside her mum at Kowloon. Sarah, a physio, was also a women's selector for the Pakistan tour. Although she grew up watching cricket, and latterly her husband, she had never played before 2002 when Kowloon ladies put together a team.
