Six batsmen raised fifties in Karachi, with Punjab Badshahs triumphing against Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Fighters by five wickets. Set a challenging target of 280, Badshahs rode on half-centuries from Nasir Jamshed, Shahid Yousuf and Umar Siddiq to complete the win in 48.5 overs. Badshahs began the chase brightly, as Jamshed stroked an 88-ball 83 and put up 50-plus stands for the first two wickets with Ali Waqas and Yousuf. Jamshed was trapped lbw in the 27th over, but Yousuf and Siddiq carried on, combining for a fourth-wicket association which yielded 104 runs, to set up the win. Yousuf struck five fours during his 63, while Siddiq's 53-ball 62 featured seven fours and a six.
Earlier, Fighters, opting to bat, posted 279 for 7 from their 50 overs. Their innings was built around two big partnerships - 67 for the fourth wicket between Mohammad Rizwan (53) and Adnan Raees (73), and 70 for the fifth between Raees and Zohaib Khan (51). Bilawal Bhatti picked up two wickets for Badshahs, while Wahab Riaz, Raza Hasan and Imad Wasim snared a scalp each.
