4.20pm And that is that. India wrap up a 3-1 series win. There's still one T20I to go on this tour - that will be on Sunday, with Chris Gayle set to play in front of his home crowd. Do join us for that. Until then, goodbye!

Ajinkya Rahane is the Player of the Series. "I really wanted to make it count. I wanted to enjoy my batting. Even in the Champions Trophy I was batting very well in the nets, and I really wanted to make it count here. This wicket was slightly better than the last two venues. The ball was coming nicely on to the bat - this was the best wicket to bat on. As I mentioned, I just wanted to enjoy my batting. I didn't want to put pressure on myself. One-day cricket is all about expressing yourself, and converting starts into a big one. Even in the future I want to enjoy myself and score some big ones."

Virat Kohli is the Player of the Match. "First and foremost the aim was to win the series, have a complete team performance. Special mention to Rahane, who's come back after a while and he was outstanding. Shikhar as well at the top. Kuldeep was outstanding. Really pleased with the team effort in general. Winning convincingly in a chase is always nice. For me it's all about getting the team across the line. It's not about stats - it's about looking at the scoreboard, looking at the bowlers, which ones to target, which ones to give respect to. I like taking control of the situation, stringing partnerships. Again Ajinkya was very good, Dinesh too. People are grabbing their opportunities - Shami playing one-day cricket after two years."

Jason Holder: "We were going well at the start, Kyle Hope was going really well. He got out at an unfortunate time, and we never got back after that. The guys have to take control of their own actions - the faster we learn on our feet, the better it will be. I sympathise with the batsmen, but they need to learn quickly, and use the off-season well. We knew the surface in Jamaica is pretty good for batting, and we didn't really capitalise. Three or four batsmen, we got in and got out. Our bowlers have been outstanding, we conceded one score of 300, but apart from that we did very well."

Ack: "Holder is a closet poet. He wanted Chase to bowl the last over of the chase to the king of chases."

Prasanna S: "Some Nostalgia stats. The last time Karthik and Kohli had a match-winning partnership was in the 2009 Champions Trophy against West Indies after India lost two early wickets. That time Karthik opened and Kohli at No.4 and I watched that game in an airport. Good to see two careers crossing paths again with a century partnership against WI.."

Shekhar: "@Wali..He missed a couple by a whisker... against Bangladesh in CT - 96* & against WI this series - out on 87."

Samir: "Day of Captains indeed. Joe Root 184* and Virat Kohli 111*. "

3.50pm A flat pitch, and West Indies' batting fell a long way short. Their batsmen got starts, but no one really made it count, and they really struggled to come to grips with India's spinners in the middle overs. A target of 206 wasn't going to test India in these conditions, which were nothing like the slow and low pitch they batted on in the fourth ODI in Antigua, and it was almost predictable that a Virat Kohli century would steer them home.

Chase to Kohli, SIX runs

and that is that. Flighted ball on off stump, and Kohli brings his wrists to play, whipping it a long way over long-on

Chase to Kohli, no run

flicked to midwicket

36.3
1
Chase to Karthik, 1 run

back of a length outside off, lets it come on and steers to the left of short third man to bring up his eighth ODI fifty

1
Chase to Karthik, 1 run

tossed up slow outside off, comes onto the front foot and clips to long-on

Roston Chase comes on with India needing nine.

Wali: "When was the last time King Kohli scored a century ? " -- In January, against England in Pune. The match where he had that massive partnership with Kedar Jadhav.

fullish on middle and off, clipped away cleverly - fine leg was inside the circle and deep square leg was in front of square, and he put it into the wide expanse between them

length ball angling into the pads, clipped to the right of deep square leg

Williams to Kohli, FOUR runs

a lovely way to bring up his 28th ODI hundred. A bit of a gift from Williams, overpitched on middle stump, and he simply leans into the ball and clips it between mid-on and midwicket. Big, angry roar after he takes off his helmet, as always

34.3
2
Williams to Kohli, 2 runs

ooh, good ball. Goes wider of the crease and angles into off stump. Kohli wants to punch into the covers, gets a thick inside edge that runs away through square leg. Kohli wants two right from the start, Karthik is a little slow to respond. He just about makes it at the bowler's end before the bails go off

34.2
Williams to Kohli, no run

length ball wide of off, leans forward and plays a straight-bat punch that is well stopped by short extra-cover diving to his right

34.1
Williams to Kohli, no run

length ball close to off stump, blocked into the cover region

Indeed I am. Hello again, everyone. Both batsmen one hit away from personal landmarks. India, meanwhile, need only 22.

One Karthik has cashed in on an opportunity. Another is ready to take you through till the end of the game

4
Holder to Karthik, FOUR runs

this is a juicy half-volley on middle, he flicks this into the gap at midwicket. Delightful timing.

Prasanna S: "Good to see Karthik playing like a no.4 milking singles and punishing bad balls. In the past, he was trying to be too cheeky and premeditate shots that cost him the place despite scoring heavily in domestic circuit. Hope he can be a strong contender for no.4 for 2019 WC with more consistency and a viable back up keeping option."

33.5
Holder to Karthik, no run

stands tall and punches the short of length delivery to backward point

33.5
1w
Holder to Karthik, 1 wide

direction of the slower delivery is horribly wrong, way down leg
