Join us for the final ODI on Wednesday at 9 am local time, 1 pm Bangladesh time. Abhishek Purohit signing off. Cheers
Sean Williams is the Man of the Match. Williams: "I am ecstatic. It was tough to lose a few wickets, kept my composure till the end. It was a fantastic batting deck. It was tough to bowl on this wicket."
Brendan Taylor: "Extremely happy with the guys. Williams was fantastic, Vusi set the tone for us and Waller finished it off. We held our nerve at the end. It will be a good game [the deciding ODI], the team that does not panic will get over the line. We need to show character."
Mushfiqur Rahim: "We did not bat well, couple of guys getting starts but not scoring big. 270-280 was a better total. One stage we were looking at 180 all out, but all credit to Razzak. We took a few wickets, did not bowl well througout."
This has been such a well-timed chase, set up by Vusi Sibanda's assault at the top. There were a few wobbles but what a calm hand by Sean Williams, supported by Malcolm Waller. It would have been a stunned Zimbabwe dressing room during the break after Razzak's blitz. But they themselves came out blazing, and that set the tone
Waller: "That was most needed to make it 1-1. It was important I had a good partnership with Willie. Struggled a bit but we did it. Guys were not too happy with the last two or three overs, we were looking at 220. But even 250 was about par on this wicket."
