This is the fifth worst defeat in Tests in terms if runs. Click here for the full list.
A complete mismatch and it's a pity Bangladesh couldn't drag this to the 5th day. Mushfiqur Rahim led by example but the rest just weren't prepared to fight it out.
There's no doubt who the Man-of-the-Match will be. Dilshan has made this game his own. After scoring 162 and 143, he cleaned up the lower order to finish with 4 for 10. Stay with us for the presentation.
Mahela collects two crests for playing 100 Tests.
Dilshan is the Man of the Match as well as the Man of the Series. He said: "I can't forget this Test. I know I am the 4th Sri Lankan to score a hundred in each innings. I stuck to my game plan which was to attack and I won the battle."
Ashraful: "Congratulations to Sri Lanka. We missed too many chances after the first session on the first day. The wicket was a little slow and it suited them and they have two world-class spinners. We played good cricket in the last Test and are improving."
Mahela: "This is what Test cricket is all about, the guys are showing character. You can't be complacent, you have to try and improve. Dilshan knows how to handle the situation and we've encouraged guys to play their own game. The people here have been brilliant, and the support we've got from the Sri Lankan students here in Chittagong has been really good."
That's it from us. Thanks for your company. Do join us for the coverage of the first match of the tri-series, between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, on Saturday January 10. It's a day game. On behalf of Manoj, Pradeep, Roshan and Chaminda, this is Kanishkaa signing off. Cheers! ( I think this is a record for the most number of scorers per match).
