10.35pm: Time for some presentations, starting with Australia captain Aaron Finch: "It was [frustrating], conditions kept geting worse. Would have been nice to play a full game but not to be. Fielding was good, bowling was really good as well. Credit to England, though, they outplayed us in all three games. [WC prep] Feeling really good, important we take some time to freshen up as a group. Trying to get away from the game for a couple of games and recharge for the World Cup."

England captain Jos Buttler is named Player of the Series: "We've enjoyed it, making some good strides in Pakistan and came here and continued that form. [Restart alongside Stokes] Only two-and-a-bit overs left, just go as hard as we could. Unique sort of game, shame we couldn't get a full game in. [Stop-start] Can be difficult, just got to accept it. For everyone, the carrot of the World Cup is close. Got to be careful with conditions. [Woakes] Brilliant, knew they'd come hard, there was some early swing and he got the rewards."

And that'll wrap things up for tonight. The World Cup is almost upon us, the first round beginning with a double-header in Geelong on Sunday. Be sure to join us for that - for tonight, from myself, Alex and Raghav, it's time to go. Thanks for your comments. Cheerio!

10.25pm: Match abandoned, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Although, for Australia, the washout does mean they avoid losing the series 3-0. It's been a mucky night at Manuka, and it ends seven balls shy of producing a result. England will be the happier of the two sides as they head to Brisbane for a World Cup warm-up match against Pakistan; they have won six out of their last nine completed T20Is, and might feel they would have edged this one, too. Australia, the defending T20WC champions, look slightly short of a gallop - but still time to get their ducks in a row before the pointy end of a home tournament

10.21pm The umpires are heading out for a look but not much movement from the ground staff. Alan will step in to keep you posted.

10.18pm Covers are down and everyone is under umbrellas just waiting out the rain. The ground staff have headed off. We're going to struggle to get back on. Gnasher says it has lightened off but it needs to stop before the covers can come off.

10.09pm Rain halts play again. The players trudge off and the covers come on. We need 5 overs for a game. Australia are miles behind on DLS but if we don't get 5 overs it will be a no result. The big square covers are coming on now. Fox are saying that we need a restart by 10.39pm to be able to bowl the 7 balls needed for a game. The target for Australia under that scenario would be 52.

Tiggsy: "Good old Woakes. He has a strong claim to being England's best limited overs seamer. Fantastic ODI record, especially considering the era of flat tracks and big hitting, and whilst he's not played that many T20Is his record stands up pretty well."
