Good on ya, VK. Cheers for joining us everybody. Okay bye

Presentation

Vinay Kumar is the Man of the Match He says: "The new shoes [the shiny red ones] are nice. With bowling, I stuck to my basics, kept hitting the right areas, and definitely with this attack, there is so much gain: Steyn, Kallis, Anil, PK are all world-class bowlers. Two days ago, it was my dad's birthday, I want to dedicate this to him."

Anil Kumble: "Fantastic win. 10 overs, 100, bowlers did a fantastic job. Last three-four matches, we have been going for 180, so they did really well. Amazing crowd. The way Robin and Rahul batted, it was superb. Nice to have smiles back, and go to Nagpur on a positive note."

Sourav Ganguly: "We got off to a good start, we were, what, 100 in 11 overs... we didn't deserve to win today. Obviously we didn't bowl well enough either. We'll try and play well, try and wake up from this loss, and hopefully turn it on in Chennai."

Rahul Dravid: "It was a critical win, absolutely critical because we were playing team tied up. We have got a great batting line-up, so it is tough to get a hit. We try to mix and match, and Jacques finally got out, giving me a chance to bat. Ross is yet to have a proper bat."

That is some statement by Bangalore. They have overpowered Kolkata in brilliant fashion, and have moved up in the table to No. 2, although Delhi - behind them - have a game in hand. Their bowlers set this up, Dravid made sure there were no hiccups at the top of the chase, while scoring at 150 per 100 balls, and then Uthappa romped home, giving the NRR a boost
