Kolkata have won comprehensively and Deccan are left in a precarious position in the points table. That stand between Yusuf Pathan and Manoj Tiwary proved decisive in the outcome, while Dhawan needed more batsmen to rally around him in the chase. Deccan are in seventh place with six defeats and three wins, and Kolkata are on top now but having played a game more than Mumbai, who are second. Nitin Sundar is finishing up his bulletin, which should be ready soon. We'll get you the presentation details in just a bit.

Sangakkara: "We needed some boundaries after that Time Out. We should have limited them to around 150-155. Our openers tried hard and delivered a solid start. We need to hold our catches, bowl well in the death overs and build on solid starts. Kolkata outplayed us and it's back to the drawing board for us."

Gambhir: "It was a professional effort from everyone, and it was a good performance from our bowlers to restrict them. It is good to have Boucher and we hope he chips in with the bat as well. I had a bit of pain in the knee and hopefully I should recover for the next game."

Yusuf Pathan is Man of the Match: "Mashallah, the ball was struck very well today. Thye captain told me to just play my game."

That's all we have from today. Thanks for tuning in and sending us your feedback. Join us tomorrow for the double-header. Until then, it's goodbye from all of us at Cricinfo.
