Dhoni: We got off to a good start but lost wickets at regular intervals. There was a situation in the middle where if we had lost one more wicket, the game would have been over. They started very well and each and every batsman batted superbly. Our bowling we could have done better but on this track, the score was not enough. We can say that we didn't have experienced spinners. I was a bit disappointed with the bowling but we should have scored more runs. Chawla has done well and he would learn from these game. I am happy with his bowling. There is pressure on us tomorrow but we have to do well. I was a bit tired at the end of my batting but that's what international cricket is all about."
Man of the Match: Younis Khan "We had a good start. I just went there and played some sensible batting. Misbah finished off very well. I practised my [sweep ] shots against the spinners and it has worked. But the main thing is the wicket is pretty flat."
Misbah: "It's a wonderful start for me as a captain. The boys came back well after India got off to a good start. We knew the score was gettable on this track. I just told them to be positive. To both bowlers and the batsmen. We just worked on the partnerships. Ajmal's was a wonderful performance, especially against India who play spin very well. Against Bangladesh it's very simple. Just go out and play like this. We would see how tomorrow's game goes."
That's it from us. See you tomorrow. The Asia cup is alive and kicking. Alvida!
