low full toss outside off, sliced over the covers. Daredevils win!
Daredevils vs MI, 17th match at Delhi, Apr 23 2016 - Ball by Ball Commentary
7.50pm Presentation
Zaheer Khan, Daredevils captain: The wicket was slowing down. If you get the right areas and use cutters it was helping. The game was going to go on till the last over, I felt from the beginning. Anything over 160 was a good total. The key was to have 3-4 overs of the legspinner for Buttler or Pollard. I think Sanju and JP both played brilliantly. They took their time. We are light on our battling and went with an extra leggie. But these two batted brilliantly. With this format it is tough when you have a long break. We are keeping things in control. The processes are followed diligently.
Sanju Samson, Man of the Match: It feels good to be a part of the team. Mainly when JP walked in, we talked about setting a good partnership. JP gave me great support. We are doing well as a team.
7.30pm: Phew, what a finish! Daredevils become the second team to defend a team, after Royal Challengers Bangalore. Top-quality bowling in the end overs from Daredevils. Mumbai raced past 50 by the end of the Powerplay and Krunal Pandya gave them more momentum. Tahir and Mishra, however, brought the hosts back into the contest with their googlies and sliders. Zaheer and Morris then held their nerve under pressure to seal Daredevils' third successive win.
That is all we have for you. Daredevils jump to second. Shashank Kishore is awaiting your company at the Sunrisers-Kings XI match

pin-point yorker on middle, Harbhajan makes room, swings and is rapped on the pad. Plumb. Million-dollar Morris is doing the job for Daredevils
Rohit Sharma is down in pain near the middle of the pitch. Hardik is involved in his second collision of the day. Overpitched and outside off, drilled to deep cover. Miscommunication between the wickets, Morris fumbles, and there is a mid-pitch collision. Rohit is gone. It's all happening at the Kotla. The throw from Negi first came to Morris. The South Africa fast bowler did not collect the throw and broke the stumps. Pandya wasn't even in the picture. Morris recovered, collected the ball, and then threw it to Qdk. Rohit had collided with Hardik and collapsed near the middle of the pitch. Qdk gleefully breaks the stumps. Rohit is gone. The physio helps him off the field. A three-man tag-team effort does it for Daredevils. Heartbreak for Mumbai
