Scorecard
A good week for Kent got better with their six-wicket win against Leicestershire to take them to the top of Division Two of the Pro40. Darren Stevens, who helped them over the line in the Twenty20 final, was again on hand as the finisher, striking an unbeaten 42 from 35 balls.
Rob Key eased to 63 but there was no bat-throwing this time when he was caught behind by Paul Nixon off the bowling of James Allenby. By the time he fell, with the score 154 for 4, Kent were well on their way to success. They were home with 27 balls to spare.
Simon Cook was their most productive bowler, with 3 for 36, while Stevens and Yasir Arafat both grabbed two. Paul Nixon boosted Leicestershire to 175, but his was a lone hand.
