Australia to begin season in Malaysia

Australia could prepare for their 2006-07 season with a tri-series in Malaysia according to Bernama, a Malaysian news agency:

The tournament would most likely comprise six pool matches and a final, with four matches to be played in Malaysia and three in Singapore.

The tournament would be Australia's first international series since it toured Bangladesh in April, and would be the first step in what will be a massive six-month period which includes the Champions Trophy, the home Ashes series against England and the World Cup in the Caribbean, starting in March.
