Burton and Williams extend Middlesex contracts
David Burton and Robbie Williams have both signed new contracts with Middlesex
David Burton and Robbie Williams have both signed new contracts with Middlesex.
Burton, the 23-year-old batsman, has signed on until the end of the season while Williams, who recently suffered a stress fracture to his back, has extended his contract until 2011.
Meanwhile, Middlesex could soon be welcoming back Tim Murtagh, whose absence - particularly in their disastrous Twenty20 Cup campaign - has hurt the club this season. Murtagh recently turned out for Stanmore, along with the Middlesex County Cricket League.
The news is less encouraging for Danny Evans and Alan Richardson, however, both of whom continue to struggle for fitness.
