Day Five of ICC Six Nations Challenge - wins for Zimbabwe A,Nambia and Sri Lanka A

Kenya v Namibia

With Kenya already through to the final, Namibia had everything to do to restore some pride. Batting first, Kenya's star batsman, K Otieno, managed only 56 off 84 balls, with his brother Colin scoring 45 off 58. However Kenya finished on a respectable total of 215 for 9. With the home crowd behind them Namibia got off to a disastrous start, their first three wickets falling for less than 10 runs. However with some noteworthy contributions from Murgatroyd (53 off 54 balls) and Karg (61 off 74 balls), Namibia salvaged the game and needed for runs to win off the last two balls. Van Vuuren remained calm, hitting a six when it was most needed, thus recording an outstanding victory for Namibian cricket.

Zimbabwe A v Holland

Having lost out on the final, both teams seemed to lack enthusiasm in this final round robin match. Top scorer for Zimababwe was Maragwede (41 off 44), but other performances lacked lustre and Zimbabwe ended on a disappointing 204 for 9. Holland were never in the game, with their top score coming from van Troost (31 off 59 balls) and the Dutchmen were dismissed for 147, giving Zimbabwe another bonus point.

Canada v Sri Lanka A

Canada inexperience showed in this match, with Sri Lanka dismissing them for 166. Sri Lanka reached the target easily with Gunarwardena scoring 59 off 54 balls and Mubarak 48 off 60. It was all done and dusted by the 36th over, giving Sri Lanka another well-deserved bonus point.
