Gooch may take up England selector`s job
Graham Gooch may have a part to play in England`s next Ashes
challenge...on the selection front.
The 41-year-old former captain has announced his retirement from
Test cricket as a player but he may be tempted into an advisory
role.
He said: "I would do anything I could to help English cricket and
our players.
"If it was thought I might be able to help in that way I would
consider it, although I don`t know whether that would be possible
while I`m still playing for Essex."
