* The Indian team to the 4-nation tourney in Sri Lanka will be
selected on the basis of the performance at Sharjah.
* The agreement with SAIL for the domestic limited-overs tourney
stood cancelled and the new sponsors would be WILLS.
* The board has made elaborate arrangements for the C.K.Nayadu
centenary celebrations from October onwards. The C.K.Nayudu trophy will now be played in the league basis and the venue is Indore.
* A six-nation seniors tourney will be held in Bombay this year
and it will be named as the C.K.Nayadu tournament.
* A One lakh rupee C.K.Nayudu award has been instituted to be
given to individuals who have done outstanding services to the
game in India - Players, umpires and officials are eligible.
* The Board has decided to raise the match fee and improve facilities for
* Umpires this season. The modalities will be announced later.
The Board recommends Col. Hemu Adhikari for the Dronacharya
award.
