The Philatelic Bureau of the Department of Post & Telecommunications in collaboration with Sri Lanka Cricket will be issuing 02 Stamps of the values Rs. 5/= and Rs. 50/= to commemorate the ICC World Cup 2007.

The Official Ceremony for the release of the aforesaid stamps will be held on Friday 23rd February 2007 at 10.30 a.m. at Sri Lanka Cricket Headquarters. The Minister of Sports and Public Recreation Hon. Gamini Lokuge, The Minister of Post & Telecommunications Hon. Rauff Hakeem and Minister of Sports Hon. Bandula Basnayake will be present.
