During this evening's meeting with senior officials from the ECB, ICC Chief Executive Malcolm Speed asked the ECB if it intended to fulfil its obligations to play in the fixture in Harare on February 13. In response to that question, the ECB said that it would not confirm if it would, or would not take part in that match. In the absence of a direct answer to that specific question, the ICC remains unclear as to England's intentions in this matter.
