McGrath to return home from Travelex Tour of the West Indies

The Australian Cricket Board (ACB) announced today that Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath will return home from the Travelex Tour of the West Indies due to family reasons.

The New South Welshman was granted leave from the tour after receiving medical advice about his wife, Jane McGrath, today.

At this stage, the ACB cannot confirm how long McGrath will be absent from the tour, or if a replacement player will be announced. More details are expected to be known in the next 48 hours.

McGrath, who will depart London today, has requested privacy on this matter and will therefore not be available to media upon his arrival into Sydney.
