NatWest are to sponsor the new 40-over domestic competition, the Pro40, which makes its debut this summer after replacing the 45-over Totesport League. The ECB signed a four-year deal with the bank on Sunday, also renewing Natwest's sponsorship of all international one-day cricket in England.
"We are delighted that NatWest has joined what promises to be an exciting and dynamic new county competition," David Collier, the ECB chief executive said.
The first Pro40 match gets underway between Essex and Northamptonshire on July 18 at Chelmsford.
