New Zealand look to wrap up series

This time next year, West Indies will be preparing to host the World Cup but it's a mark of how far they have fallen from grace that they began the one-day series against New Zealand as massive underdogs at 7/2 (4.50)

Having eased to victory in the opening two games of the one-day series, New Zealand are now virtually unbackable at 1/100 (1.01) to clinch the five-game series against West Indies.
The tourists are 14/1 (15.00) with bet365 to come from behind and overturn the 2-0 lead, but there was litte to suggest from the first two games that anything other than a New Zealand win is the likely outcome.
That said, I would still not be surprised if West Indies managed to get it together enough to win one of the remaining three games as they do have some players capable of winning the match, even though they have now lost 17 of their past 19 one-day games.
Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Chris Gayle can dominate any bowling attack on their day, and if one and preferably two of them click at the same time, then bet365's odds of 11/4 (3.75) for them to win in Christchurch are pretty generous, especially when compared to 1/4 (1.25) for New Zealand.
Joint favourites
New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming and opener Nathan Astle head the betting to be their side's top runscorer, at 4/1 (5.00) while Lou Vincent is a 9/2 (5.50) chance. Scott Styris and Jamie How are both 5/1 (6.00).
Daniel Vettori, who came good at 28/1 (29.00) in the second match, is not quite so big a price this time, at 22/1 (23.00) for a repeat performance.
For West Indies, their lack of form is shown by bet365's market, which makes Chris Gayle. Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan all joint favourites at 4/1 (5.00). Daren ganga and Wavell Hinds are both 6/1 (7.00).
And New Zealand are 8/13 (1.61) to have the better opening partnership, having triumphed in that market in the opening two games. West Indies are 6/5 (2.20).
