Lahore, July 20: Matters pertaining to infra-structure, acquisition of
modern ground equipment and sponsorship deals were discussed during
the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) advisory council meeting held at the
Qadhafi Stadium on Thursday.
The council was briefed about sponsorship deals, installation of sight
screens and modern digital scoreboards at Karachi, Lahore and
Rawalpindi and improving seating arrangements and facilities.
The council was told that the installations of lights would be in
operation at all the centres before England cricket team arrives for
a three-Test and as many one-day games in October.
The seating capacity at the three stadia would be increased by
approximately 24,000.
The council also approved Pakistan team's one-day series against Sri
Lanka in Dubai after being informed that the stadium had all the
required facilities.
