Shoaib could be on course to tour England

Shoaib Akhtar could make the Pakistan tour squad which will arrive in England next month after coming through tests on his action at a university in Australia.

Shoaib, reputedly the world's fastest bowler, was reported by the umpires during Pakistan's final One-Day International in New Zealand in February for his controversial action.

Western Australia and Kent coach Daryl Foster and Australian bowling legend Dennis Lillee have been working on his technique in Perth.

Foster is said to be delighted with Shoaib's progress after a net session and practice match on Friday.
