Somerset sign James Knott as deputy wicket-keeper

James Knott, the son of former Kent and England wicket-keeper Alan Knott, has been signed by Somerset as their deputy to wicket-keeper Rob Turner for the coming season.

The 25-year-old used to play for Surrey, appearing in 12 first-class matches for the county between 19995 and 1999.
