Sri Lanka promise to send national team to Singapore

Sri Lanka has confirmed to field its national team for an International three-nation tournament to be held in Singapore in April. The tournament, involving Asia`s top three cricket nations India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, starts on April 1. The three countries will play in a round robin competition with the top two teams going into the final. All matches will be played at the Singapore CC Padang which will be turned into a cricket stadium with a seating capacity of approximately 4,000 spectators.

Kandy Antonains enter junior cricket final

St.Anthony`s College, Kandy entered the finals of the Schools under 13 Division I cricket tournament when they beat President`s College on first innings at Health grounds. In reply to St.Anthony`s College` s first innings total of 220 all out, President`s College were bowled out for 147.
