STEMP CHANCES HIT BY HEARING
Yorkshire's Richard Stemp must appear before a disciplinary panel
on the day England meet for next week's third Test. The spinner
who was 12th man for the first two Tests has been asked to
answer a misconduct charge over an incident against Somerset. If
he is found guilty he could face a four day ban and England may
consider this when naming the squad Yorkshire had hoped to deal
with it themselves. "If the TCCB want to take it upon themselves
it's up to them," said their chief executive.
