WARRIORS PURA MILK CUP SEASON RESUMES

Buoyed by an outright win over the Southern Redbacks last month, the Western Warriors' Pura Milk Cup season resumes next Tuesday with a match against Tasmania in Hobart

Buoyed by an outright win over the Southern Redbacks last month, the Western Warriors' Pura Milk Cup season resumes next Tuesday with a match against Tasmania in Hobart.
The Warriors trip to Tasmania includes a four-day Pura Milk Cup clash (February 8-11) along with WA's final Mercantile Mutual Cup fixture (February 12) before a home semi-final at the WACA on February 19 or 20.
Fast-bowler Jo Angel is hoping for a recall against the Tigers after missing the Redbacks clash with a broken arm. Angel will test his arm in the nets tomorrow and a squad to play Tasmania in the Pura Milk Cup clash will be chosen after training.
Selectors must also find a replacement for batsman Rob Baker in the Mercantile Mutual Cup side after he suffered a fractured cheekbone in a fielding collision during Scarborough's BankWest Cup quarter-final last Sunday.
The 24-year-old right-hander had played all five one-day matches this summer, batting at four through to seven, scoring 85 runs @ 42.50. His left-arm spinners had also snared five wickets @ 15.8, including a hat-trick against the Canberra Comets.
