World Cup money due a shake-up

LATE moves are being made to persuade authorities to stump up
more prize money for the World Cup next February and March.
Organisers on the ground in Pakistan and India have also urged
the International Cricket Council to act on what they see as derisory financial rewards for the game`s showpiece event. Currently, the cup winners are to receive only #20,000 and the runnersup #6,600.
