Player of the Week
Thilan Samaraweera
Thilan Samaraweera has had a year he'll never forget: back-to-back double hundreds in Pakistan, being severely wounded in the Lakore attacks and later a ODI recall after years in the wilderness. This week he was back to his best form scoring a magnificent 159, his tenth test hundred and his first since the Pakistan tour. It was a brilliant effort in Galle that steered Sri Lanka into a winning position against New Zealand in the First Test.
