The push press is an effective exercise to learn and understand the technique of explosive lifting. If you are able to perform a push press it can create a good platform for you to move on to more explosive lifting exercises. Remember however there are elements of risk involved with explosive lifts so ensure that you are assisted by a professional while performing these exercises.
