  • Gerhard Erasmus (capt), JJ Smit (vice-capt), Cobus Brand, MP Delport, Michiel du Preez, Zane Green, Joshuan Julius, JP Kotze, Malan Kruger, Jano Coetzee, Xander Pitchers, Wayne Raw, Ricardo Strauss, Bredell Wessels, Tiaan Snyman

Namibia will be led by Gerhard Erasmus in the Under-19 World Cup, which kicks off in the UAE in February. Their 15-player squad includes several players who turn out for the senior national team - and are currently playing in the World Cup 2015 Qualifier in New Zealand - like Erasmus, JJ Smit, Xander Pitchers and JP Kotze.

"Our batting is a good mix of left- and right-handers, explosive stroke-makers along with players that can build partnerships and have the ability to make big scores and take us to competitive totals, such as Gerhard Erasmus, Alexander Pitchers and Malan Kruger,'' Namibia's high performance coach Rangarirai Manyande said.

Namibia is slotted into Group B, along with Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Australia. They will go into the World Cup following extensive preparation, having played in various competitions in South Africa.
