Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is the finest monument that India can boast of in modern day and even i dare say that after Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi he is the man who captivated this planet and became ambassador of India on world stage. He was the reason cricket become a culture. As he showcased his repertoire to the world, people embraced him into their psyche and he still occupies the most coveted place in their hearts. At one stage, master was synonym for cricket in the subcontinent and he still has a considerable value in the market as an endorser..His immortality in the sport is unquestionable and his ability to transcend the barriers in the multicultural society like India will be talked about for eons to come. The man and his charisma has rubbed off to the extent that cricket shall be addressed as-PRE SACHIN ERA and POST SACHIN ERA.People will live reminiscing your heroics Sir.You were a winner in sport for India and you will be a winner for India in your retirement life too.Long live.

Only one thing A Living Legend!! A time comes when all of the cricket lovers have to say bye to every great cricketer ever player. So I was warming for Sachin's retirement for quite sometime and wished he would go on a high. I always wanted him to retire when he was at his best. May be these two tests will make me see Vintage Tendulkar.. Hope soo

Throughout the 90s, there was nothing positive to rave about India, except for a certain man called Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar... He's been responsible for the removal of gloom from the unstable country which was struggling with political crises and unstable economy.... Do I need to say why he is special for us? Matchwinner or not, he is just special... We shall miss you Sachin ...

End of an era..End of a dram..End of a magic...Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is , was and will be the greatest idol and superstar India has ever produced... There has been gavaskar, there has been Viv RIchards, There is Shah RUkh/AMitabh..but nobody has the aura of Tendulkar.... Love u Sachin..You have carried India to th next level which nobody has ever does..You have been the dreams of millions.. Every father and mother wants his son to be sachin, every girl wants her bf or husband to be sachin and every brother wants his brother to be like sachin...

You have been a miracle which has hapenned to india. You were the habit for 24 years. Feeling very sad that india will never again see you batting....Dont know whether you are god or human..but certainly you are the greatest gift to india ever and a miracle....Thanks sachin and all the best for future...

Growing up as a kid in India I first watched Sachin probably in early 90s when I was 8-9 years old and did not know what a straight drive or a cut through backward point meant. What I knew was that Sachin is batting and he is going to hit boundaries and sixes and make India win. Indian fans' disappointment when he will get out is unparalleled to any other player. Celebrations by the opponent team on his dismissal is like they winning the match. He popularized, he showed commitment, he showed humility, he connected India like nothing else after independence struggle, he showed hope, he gave respite and above all he entertained like no one for 24 years. He has that place in world cricket that is just for him.

no doubt Sachin is very popular in India (cause other nation got their own heroes) but he always play for himself not for his nation...he always made record and play many selfish innings not for his country....he scores to kept his place in team that y most of matches india lost despite sachin score fifty or hundred.... I believes if other world class batsman i.e. Lara, Ricky, J Kallis , AB, Hamla, Inzi, Yousaf, Younis, Gayle etc play 24 years for their country then they can make record much better then Sachin......

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar Bored to watch an Indian team bat for 3 hours without you.Cursed that the T20's were not introduced when you were younger. Hoped you would play test cricket longer for the benefit of its existence. Frightened that this day would come when i would lose the reason to watch CRICKET.

Skipped school, bunked college, escaped work just to watch you play and i am sad those days are done forever. Thought i would support my home team SRH once you quit IPL, but knowing you would have a smile on your face on a MI win, that looks impossible. You did miracles with the bat, magic with the ball and wonders with your consistency. In the world of corruption and pollution(BCCI) you have stood high and firm as an inspiration to millions around the globe.

Thanks for all the memories you gave us. Thanks for all the smiles you brought on our faces hundreds of times and thanks for filling our hearts with joy and pleasure with your game. Thanks to the internet and youtube that i can ke

I did not understood the cricket properly, I did not recognize his name and I even dont know which tournament it was! When I first saw him hitting the balls through covers, I was just addicted to the game. I learned the game because of him. I watched the game because of him. The game wont be the same any more. Thanx for the memories!

Cricket should be renamed as SCRICKET (S is for Sachin) he is the god of Cricket & won more matches for India than any player has ever done. Check the stats & you will know he has 60 MOMs just in ODIs & several in tests which shows he was a more bigger match winner than Kumble, Dravid, Ganhuly, Sunil, Kapil, Dhoni, Yuvraj & even Sehwag.
