2.55pm: There we have it. India have drawn level with three to play. Can England find a response? We'll have to wait ten days to find out, as the players get a short break to recharge and go again. For now, I'll leave you with Andrew Miller's match report, which will be followed by more in the way of reaction and analysis from our guys at the ground. Rajkot is next up, where R Ashwin should be a shoo in for his 500th Test wicket. Will we see James Anderson notch up 700 in the same match? What a tantalising thought. Anyway, until then, thanks for you comments. From myself and Sid, Chandan and the scoring team, it's cheerio for now. Bye!

2.35pm: Right, time for the presentations, starting with England captain Ben Stokes: "We had full belief in ourselves that we could chase that down. The way we have gone about taking on challenges like that is what we are about. In moments like that, when you have scoreboard pressure, that is when we get the best out of ourselves as individuals. The way we applied ourselves and put India under pressure was great, unfortunately we didn't end up on the right side of the result. There is no suggestion [from me] on how to go out and play. We know there is a task ahead, we know there is 330 to get, everybody in that dressing room is a quality player. [Inexperienced spin attack] It wasn't a challenge. I absolutely loved. To look at at Tom, Bash and Rehan with three matches between them and watch them put in the performance yesterday was great. They showed a lot of maturity, a lot of skill. [Anderson?] Jimmy is amazing. You look at Jimmy, and Jasprit Bumrah, two great fast bowlers. Even when you are in the opposition, you put your hand up [for Jasprit]. Jimmy is that player for us."

Next up, India's Rohit Sharma: [Bumrah] "He's a champion player for us, done the job for a while. When you win a game like that you have to look at the overall performance. We know that winning a Test match in these conditions is not going to be easy, the bowlers stepped up. [Jaiswal] Looks like a very good player, understands his game. Got a long way to go, of course. It was an exceptional knock. He has a lot to offer the team, I hope he stays humble. The wicket was good to bat on, a lot of the batters got starts and didn't convert. They are young, new to this format, it will take some time. This win gives us a lot of confidence. Very proud of such a young squad, to come up against a team like that. Very positive. We want these guys to have time in the middle. It's a good challenge, England have been playing food cricket. Not going to be an easy series. Three more games to go, need to make sure we do most things right."

Jasprit Bumrah is named Player of the Match: "I don't look at numbers. If you think about numbers there is a lot of pressure. I'm very happy that we won and contributed to that. [Pope yorker ] As a youngster that was the first delivery I learned in tennis-ball cricket. I used to feel that is the only way to take wickets. Not the leader [of the attack] but we are going through a transition so it's my responsibility to guide them. [Rohit captaincy] We discuss everything, about what I am thinking and what he thinks we should do. [Rivalry with Anderson] Not really, I always enjoy watching fast bowling, whether it's the other team or not. If someone is doing well, good on them. Look at the situation, look at the wicket. I look to solve the problem, every wicket is different and I have to use what I have in my armoury."

2.15pm: India roar back, we go to Rajkot at 1-1. Jasprit Bumrah claims nine in the match, rivalling Yashasvi Jaiswal for the player-of-the-match award (with a polite nod to Shubman Gill for his third-innings hundred). They came into this Test missing a host of first-choice players, after being beaten in extraordinary manner a week ago in Hyderabad, but found the performance required to drag England's Bazballers back. The margin was pretty comfortable in the end, England came hard but lost wickets with too great a regularity to really get close. They did, however, end up with the second-highest fourth-innings total by a visiting team in India, so there is that

Here is Yashasvi Jaiswal talking to the host broadcaster: "I enjoyed the game, the battle was wonderful. One of the best moments when you win for your country. We were focusing on our process, what we can do. Focus on our fielding and follow the process. It went well. Day four pitch had cracks, there was seam [movement]. It's hard playing the fourth innings. [White ball to red ball] Absolutely different, field and ball, mindset different. I try to play my shots and have good intent. The way Bumrah bowled, it was incredible to watch. He bowled really well in the first innings as well. Wonderful to be part of."

Bumrah to Hartley, OUT

fabulous delivery, wins India the match! Reverse outswinger, beats Hartley and all ends up and flattens off stump. Actually flicked off the pads, so could have been out in two different ways. Bumrah finishes what he started with a six-wicket bag in the first innings, securing victory by 106 runs to level the series

GC: "Anderson was right in his interview yesterday. They will try to get there in 70 overs. (They are very close to 70 now, but all out). Entertaining nevertheless."

full and reversing into the pads, deflected away through backward square. Bumrah starts to appeal but realises it was doing too much

It would now be tea, but as England are nine down they will play on. Bumrah switches ends, Rohit doesn't want to stay out there any longer than necessary. Three slips in

Jiten Surtani has been reading my diaries again: "Now now, Mr. Alan, there is no need to hide it here. Pretty sure you would give the MoM award to Brendon McCullum and then post an article saying how Bazball has resulted in a Coach getting the MoM award for the first time, wouldn't you?"

pitched up and nicked off! Bashir feels for it as the ball shapes away, up goes the finger. Mukesh gets a wicket and he is chuffed to bits about it. Nicely bowled, to be fair, a full-length reversing outswinger, and it grazes the outside edge through to Bharat. India one away from victory
