What a game! One that the Bangladesh fans will talk about for years to come. Can't say the same about India. In case you missed it (seriously, where were you!), read all about it in Karthik's report. Hope you enjoyed our coverage of the game. We will be back in a couple of days' time, with India looking to get one back and Bangladesh keen to make it 2-0 and wrap up the series. Till then, on behalf of Himanshu and Thilak, this is me, Ashish, signing off. Ciao!

Litton Das, the winning captain: Very happy. When I was in the dressing room, I was really nervous, but the way Fizz and Miraz batted, I enjoyed it a lot. The bowlers bowled really well at the start. When me and Shakib were batting, we thought we could chase it easily. But when we got out, it got tricky. I had faith on the others but I have no words to describe this feeling. Congratulations to Miraz.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz is the Player of the Match : Thanks to Allah. I am really excited. Mustafizur and I just thought that we need to believe. I just told him to stay calm and play 20 balls. I am really enjoying bowling. The wicket in the morning was a bit tricky, and I enjoyed bowling. This performance is really memorable for me.

First up, Rohit Sharma, the India captain : It was a very close game. We did very well to come back into the game. We did not bat well. We bowled pretty well and kept them under pressure till the end. They held their nerves in the backend. If you look back at how we bowled, of course the last few overs, we would have liked to get a wicket. We kept taking wickets all through. It wasn't enough runs. Another 30-40 runs would have made a difference. With KL and Washy, we could have got there. Unfortunately, we lost wickets in the middle, and it is not easy to come back. The pitch was a bit challenging, the odd ball was turning. You have to understand how to play. There are no excuses, we are used to such types of conditions. We need to look at how to bat against their spinners in these conditions. The genes are there, these guys grew up playing in such conditions. It is all about handling pressure. Once you do, it gives you confidence. It is important to learn how to handle those pressure situations. Hopefully, we change things around in the next game.

Presentation time.

This is the fourth-highest 10th wicket partnership in a successful ODI chase, says Sampath.

ShahSafeer : "Switched on to TV when Mehidy hit those two sixes off Sen bowling, I thought he was hitting shots for a fun but surprised us all with a beautiful win, one for ages for BD cricket! "

JOYDEEP GILL: "Ind conceded 17 extras causing lose them this match"

7.45pm A game that ebbed and flowed all the way through ends up in Bangladesh's favour, courtesy an an almost unbelievable 51-run last-wicket stand between Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mustafizur Rahman. In all fairness, Bangladesh should have won this game quite easily, but defending 187, India came out all guns firing. Deepak Chahar picked a wicket of the first ball, Mohammed Siraj was exceptional in the middle overs, so was Washington Sundar. The experienced batters, Litton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mahmudullah, all got starts, but none of them could carry on till the end. Bangladesh were 95 for 3, then slipped to 136 for 9 in a dramatic collapse. It seemed the game would be over, everyone did, barring two men - Mehidy and Fizz. The duo added 51 off 41 balls to take their side home. The celebrations told the entire story. How costly were the fielding lapses. For a team that plays under high-pressure situations all the time, India just lost the plot and couldn't take the pressure. There were drop catches, fielding lapses, overthrows, wayward bowling.

Ruthvik: "Baffling to no use of Sundar at the fag end and Rohit persisting with fast medium bowlers. Ordinary stuff captaincy." The dew was a factor, I suspect. It was getting tough to grip the ball.

Ashfaq: "Winning runs was a four. Not a single so correct the commentary pls" They completed the single before the ball hit the boundary cushions.

Naman: "India's inability to clean up the tail continues"

Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, 1 run

Mehidy, the hero! What a champion, what a player, what a match! Second-highest 10th wicket partnership for Bangladesh in ODIs. They have won this game out of nowhere. This is a famous win and all credit to Mehidy, who did not lose cool, and of course Mustafizur, who seriously deserves a promotion. Coming back to the ball. It was a length ball, outside off. Miraz just lofts it through covers and celebrations follow. Helmet off, Mehidy runs to his team-mates who are absolutely elated.

Rohit speaks with Chahar. The field comes in. Everyone on the offside is in. Midwicket in, deep square leg and long on are back.

Chahar to Mustafizur, 1 run

Scores are level! Or are they? Has Fizz grounded his bat? So many questions. Nope, he has made it. On a length on the pads, he clips it to midwicket and they run through for a run. There was a direct hit, but Fizz makes it. 50 partnership up for Bangladesh.

Prince: "India have just bowled poorly in the last 4-5 overs. Kept bowling short. No Yorkers. Just lost the plot."

45.4
Chahar to Mustafizur, no run

Banged in short, he goes for the pull. Misses it completely.

Two to win, one for a tie. Fizz to take strike.

Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, (no ball) 1 run

Banged in short, is that the game? Nope! He swivels and pulls it to deep midwicket, who does well running his right. They take a run. Haaang on a minute, Chahar has over-stepped! A free hit at such a crucial juncture.

45.3
Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, no run

Misses out! That was the opportunity to close the game. Short, wide outside the off stump. He looks for the cut again, but I suspect he tried to go very hard at it. Misses

H. Prasanna : "Why do keep bowling short to Miraz? They bowled brilliant lengths throughout the game!"

45.2
Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, no run

Banged in short, he was looking for the pull, but sensibly, sways out of the line.

Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, FOUR runs

They are within striking distance! Short, wide, he cuts it hard past deep third and the ball races along the ground. Chahar has lost the plot

Just 8 to win for Bangladesh. How things change in a matter of overs! Can these two hold their nerves? These last eight runs, they are going to be the toughest. They can get these in singles, pretty easily.,

Slower back of a length ball well outside off. Miraz gets well across and gently pull it to deep midwicket.

Swing and a miss! Short of a length outside off, he shapes up for the pull but the ball does not get up as much. He misses

Thakur to Mustafizur, 1 run

Nine to win! It's down in single figures. On a length outside off, he opens the face of the bat and gets it down to third man

Thakur to Mustafizur, FOUR runs

A glance and four runs! They need 10 more. A despairing dive can't save the boundary. The angles gets it on the pads, he gets a tickle and the ball races to the fine leg fence.

44.2
Thakur to Mustafizur, no run

Short of a good length just outside off, he gets across and presents another solid block. Glove up, saying no run!

44.1
Thakur to Mustafizur, no run

Length angling into the batter, who is right behind it. Defends back to the bowler. The crowd is getting right behind Fizz.

14 to win. Shardul from around the wicket.

Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, FOUR runs

Another fielding lapse and four runs is the result! Slower short of a length ball hip-high. He swivels and pulls it to the right of deep square leg, who runs, puts in a dive but lets the ball through. But, that means, Fizz will have to face the start of the next over. Can this be a blessing in disguise for India?

Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, 2 runs

Punches it so nicely. Stands tall to the back of a length ball and places it wide of deep point. Oh, there are overthrows. The pressure getting to India? No one was backing up at the bowler's end. They concede an extra run.

43.4
Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, no run

Almost chops it on! Back of a length ball outside off, he gets an inside edge perilously close to the stumps.

43.3

Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, FOUR runs

Another boundary! What's happening here? Back of a length but the width, that's the issue. Mehidy dances down the track and has hack at it. Flays it over point and the ball trickles to the fence.

Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, FOUR runs

Slower ball outside off, he spots it early, gets across, and scoops it fine past short fine and keeper

43.1
Chahar to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, no run

Back of a length ball outside off, he swishes at it and even though is caught with Dhawan going back from cover, doesn't matter. They don't take a run

Free hit

Oh, what happened there? Chahar tries the knuckle ball that goes horribly wrong. A high full toss around shoulder high results that he can only pat to extra cover
