Scorecard
Moises Henriques' maiden List A hundred and supporting knocks from Peter Nevill and Ben Rohrer lifted New South Wales from a shaky start to a comfortable five-wicket win against Victoria in Sydney. Earlier, a century from Cameron White had led Victoria to a strong position, but New South Wales bowlers struck with late wickets to limit them to 293. The win leaves New South Wales undefeated in the tournament after four games.
New South Wales' chase got off to a poor start when they lost Nic Maddinson and Scott Henry within the first 10 overs. With the score at 2 for 38, Nevill and Henriques began rebuilding the innings with a 127-run, third-wicket partnership. Once Nevill departed, Henriques built a stand with Rohrer and the pair added 94 runs in quick time. Henriques got to his hundred with a boundary in the 40th over and the side went into the final leg of the chase needing 72 off the last 10 overs. Henriques then cracked a couple of sixes after getting to his hundred but his run-out in the 45th over put the game in the balance, as they needed 33 off 30 balls. Rohrer and Ryan Carters, however, swiftly brought up the win in the 48th over. Henriques' 112-ball 131 included 10 fours and five sixes.
Earlier, the pace trio of Doug Bollinger, Pat Cummins and Gurinder Sandhu tied Victoria down, despite a strong opening stand and a hundred from White, his second of the tournament. White and Stoinis shared a 101-run stand for the fifth wicket and set a platform for Victoria, leading into the end of the innings. However, the side collapsed from 4 for 236 to 10 for 293. Bollinger finished with 4 for 78, while Cummins took 3 for 52 and Sandhu took 2 for 59.
