Billy Godleman and James Harris have been added to the England performance camp in Chennai. The pair join Steve Finn, the Middlesex fast bowler, who was last week named as the replacement for Luke Wright who was forced to fly home with a foot injury.
"I'm really looking forward to mixing with some high quality cricketers here in India and seeing how I cope against them as well as learning from them," Godleman said. "It's a great opportunity for me and I'm going to make the most of it."
Harris, 17, made his debut for Glamorgan last year and soon after took 7 for 66 - the youngest player to take seven wickets in the Championship.
"It's brilliant being here with this group of players," Harris said. "There's a lot of experience in the squad and hopefully I'll be able to learn something from them. It's a fantastic opportunity for us to work hard and get some preparation under our belts ahead of the Under-19 World Cup early next year.
"I'm also hoping I might get to play in one of the games. I think I've got enough experience to take the field over here and I'd give it my best if I was picked."
Amjad Khan, the Kent fast bowler, has also arrived in India to continue his rehabilitation from a knee injury.
