Will you miss the SLPL?

A jazzy T20 league with international stars, in tricky Sri Lankan conditions - it could have made for interesting cricket.

No one's going to miss it. The cricket calender is already stuffed with more than its share of hit-and-giggle T20 jaunts.

Yes, only league where there were so many bangladeshi players and it was better than BPL. Bpl had no current players. only retired players or palyers who dont play in the current team. SLPL had some big names like MD Hafeez, Umar gul and other pakistani players , Brad hogg, mitchell marsh, Shiv chanderpaul, as well as other. It also brought out young talent like Akiloa Dhananjaya

Yes not for any cricketing reasons but purely because the SLPL brings in much wanted revenue to the cricket board.Whether that is used for what it is supposed to is a worry but it still does bring in revenue. But for purely cricketing reasons it has almost nothing to offer, crowds are never going to fill up a stadium, seven teams dilutes the quality of local players plus even the international ones present arent big names.

the tournament helps bring out sl's young talent

slpl was only popular in srilanka & their were not too many top class international cricketers in each team to make it a global sucess . Its a loss for the locals who could have watched some cricket , its not a loss globally .
