Middle-order batter Farhan Yousaf will lead Pakistan's 15-member side at the Under-19 World Cup to be played in Zimbabwe and Namibia next month. The same side will also feature in the Zimbabwe tri-series, also involving Afghanistan, in the lead up to the World Cup.
Yousaf is also leading Pakistan at the ongoing Under-19 Asia Cup, where Pakistan will take on India in the title clash in Dubai on Sunday. The only change to the Asia Cup squad for the tri-series and the World Cup is the addition of right-arm fast bowler Umar Zaib for left-arm spinner Mohammad Huzaifa. Huzaifa has instead been named among the five non-traveling reserves which also includes Abdul Qadir, Farhanullah, Hassan Khan and Ibtisam Azhar.
The tri-series in Zimbabwe will be played from December 25 to January 6 before the Under-19 World Cup kicks off on January 15.
At the World Cup, Pakistan have been pooled with England, Scotland and Zimbabwe in Group C. All of Pakistan's group matches will be played in Harare.
