11.6 to Shan Masood, full, straight and smashing the pads... Aleem Dar shakes his head but Sarfaraz calls for a review. Could be close, this. Beats the inside edge with Masood heaving across the line, would it have hit leg stump? Yes! Masood's a goner! Irfan finally breaks the opening stand. 119/1

18.1 to RR Rossouw, Rossouw holes out to deep midwicket! Would have been six more had it not gone straight down the gullet of Iftikhar! Slower ball from Naseem and he couldn't quite get the power on another scything pull shot. But Rossouw takes the applause as he walks off with a brutal 71 from 26. 222/2

19.2 to Khushdil Shah, full and wide and scooped to deep point! Went across early and Mudassar bowled wider in response, got under the shot and it presented a simple catch to Ahsan running in from the rope. 235/3

2.1 to Ahsan Ali, chipped to long-on! Tentative shot from Ahsan, no conviction whatsoever. Asif Afridi angled it in with no spin, on a fullish length. Slightly cramped for room as he looked to hit straight down the ground, and Willey barely had to move, taking a straightforward catch. 23/2 8.1 to Iftikhar Ahmed, bowled 'im! Not a great ball, bit of a half-tracker which skids through. No real turn, dragged down, Iftikhar shapes to pull but can't lay bat on ball and the ball slides into the top of the stumps. 76/4

1.1 to WCF Smeed, full, swinging in, up goes the finger!. Smeed reviews but this looked very good. Smashed him in front of leg stump and Ultra-Edge confirms it hit the pad first. Hitting leg stump, halfway up, and Aleem Dar's original decision is upheld. Quetta lose a review as well as their in-form batter. 10/1 5.3 to JJ Roy, skied straight up, and the chance is gobbled up! Willey celebrates and Roy heads back to the dugout, along with Quetta's hopes. Offcutter which Roy didn't pick, and one hand came off the bat as he looked to clear the infield. Azmat settles underneath it, running back from the edge of the ring, and takes it cleanly. 58/3

13.1 to Noor Ahmad, cleaned up! 84mph/135kph, Noor looks to swing him away into the leg side and loses his stumps. Dahani races away in celebration towards the stands with a wide grin on his face, bowing towards Sir Viv in the Quetta dugout. Naseem Shah, the new man in, shares a laugh with him, mimicking a swish of his bat at him... Quetta are sliding towards a heavy defeat. 118/7 13.4 to Naseem Shah, cleans him up! Dahani angles it in on a length, Naseem plays it onto the stumps via the back thigh as he looks to swing over the leg side. Lighter moment as Aleem Dar runs across to stop Dahani celebrating, pretending to rugby tackle him. Dahani eventually wriggles out of his clutches and bows towards the crowd. 121/8
3 | 0 | 16 | 1 | 5.33 | 10 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
9.3 to Umar Akmal, Akmal's fun is over. He rolled back the years in this innings with six sixes but he can't clear Dahani this time, who takes a sharp catch. Tossed up by Tahir, wide outside off stump. Akmal freed his arms, launching it up and over the off side, but there was more height than length. Dahani ran around from deep cover, taking it on his knees, and two of the PSL's most exuberant celebrators run off in different directions. 96/5
2.5 | 0 | 17 | 2 | 6.00 | 6 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
12.1 to Sohail Tanvir, juggles it, but catches it at the second attempt! Fullish outside off, Tanvir swings flaccidly at skies it into the covers. Rossouw runs round to his left from point, nearly makes a mess of it, but then gobbles it up at the second chance. 108/6 15.5 to Mohammad Irfan, that's all folks! Miserable performance from Quetta. Full and straight from Khushdil, through Irfan as he looks to swing down the ground. Clips the top of off stump on its way through and Multan win by 117 runs. 128/10 |
