47b to WG Jacks, Dug in short, 83mph, top-edged... and taken by an onrushing Chris Green from deep midwicket! Excellent take, and a vital wicket for Henry! His first of the 2025 competition.... 84/2 94b to D Ferreira, Dug in short... taken by Smith at long on! Ferreira tries another flat-bat but can't get a good enough contact. Cue a cacophony of boos for the Australia! "They don't forget quickly, do they," jokes Simon Doull of the English.... 207/4

39b to TS Muyeye, Muyeye holes out! And it's a tame way to go... a long hop from Zaib gets put down the throat of Payne at backward square leg! Looks like he was unsure whether to go at that as hard as possible or keep it down... hits the ground in disgust as he walks off... a much needed breakthrough for Fire. 76/1 |

1b to SS Eskinazi, gone first ball, scooped up by the diving Muyeye! Eskinazi reaches out and steers away from his body, in the air in the vicinity of backward point... and Tawanda Muyeye proves that everything is coming up Invincibles tonight! Brilliant full-length catch out in front, and Fire are 0 for 1 after 1. 0/1 11b to SPD Smith, skied towards long-on... COX GRABS A STUNNER! Everything coming up, erm, teal and navy. Possibly a slower ball, Smith miscued it high over the on side. Cox had to run almost all the way to the rope, and keep an eye on the ball dropping over his shoulder. He did so, and bagged it nonchalantly on his knees. 12/2 80b to SA Zaib, short ball, feathered behind! Behrendorff bangs it in and gets the reward as Zaib attempts an extravagant ramp-cum-pull. Just a tickle through to Billings and up goes the finger. 131/7
15 | 8 | 21 | 1 | 1.40 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | ||
81b to T Kohler-Cadmore, short ball, gloved down leg! Not sure Ian Blackwell was going to give it, but Kohler-Cadmore knew and starts to walk. Just brushed the gloves as he swung hard at a pull and Billings did the rest springing across to his left. 131/8
15 | 5 | 20 | 1 | 1.33 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 0 | ||
75b to CJ Green, chipped back, Curran snaffles it! Enthusiastic celebration from SCurran, though it was more David Brent than John Travolta. Bowled into the pitch, Green prodded it back at waist height, safely grabbed in his follow through. 125/6
18 | 8 | 15 | 4 | 0.83 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | ||
68b to JM Bairstow, full toss, edged into the stumps! Bairstow won't be carrying the Fire down the final straight tonight. He has to swing for the pickets but only succeeds in diverting the ball down into his own wicket. Invincibles closing in, you feel. 122/4 70b to PI Walter, another drag on hurts the dragons! Short ball wide of off and Walter throws a forlorn cross-batted shot that sends the ball cannoning down into his timbers. Fire threatening to fizzle out. 122/5 92b to DA Payne, skied to backward point! Curran hits a hard length with pace on and Payne has a wild slog that goes almost straight up. Well held as it dips behind square by Sowter. 143/9 93b to AS Dale, slapped to cover! Curran Jnr plucks it from the air to give Curran Snr a fourth wicket, and Oval Invincibles have completed a steamrollering. Invincibles win by 83 runs and will go level with Superchargers and Rockets at the top. 143/10

39b to LWP Wells, fetched high and leg side... but not far enough! Wells goes to the slog-sweep again but picks out SCurran on the boundary rope. He's just a yard inside but pouches it without drama. Fire lose their third, a tall ask just gets taller. 61/3
